Check out the new HD video for Fatima’s Waltz! Thanks to the crew of The Feral Few Productions for putting it all together! We shot it in Kansas City, KS on Feb. 19, 2012 before doing a house concert that night. It was a fun 3-camera shoot that got up close and personal shots from all angles so you can actually see my hands. It was cool for even me to see this song from a new perspective. Enjoy!
Free Music Anyone?! Ok, get this…I’m giving away some songs from my new album, Now You Know, as well as a couple bonus live tracks through NoiseTrade. It’s a great service where you can check out a ton of artists’ music for free (although you can also leave a much appreciated tip of any amount you choose…thanks in advance for your generosity!) You can get my music and please share the link on your page to share more free music with your friends!
Memphis is in typical form (in the very best of ways) at the Folk Alliance conference. It’s 2:45am and music is going strong flowing out of all the hotel rooms. Currently enjoying the sounds of the Cumberland Collective on the 19th floor. Imagine your typical hotel , but each room as its own venue with a different roster of artists singing their heart out and music pouring down the hallway…a little hard to describe. Simply amazing!
Today was a big day for my music! I got to see my song “Surrender,” that I wrote with Emilia Dahlin, featured during a steamy love scene on The Young and The Restless on CBS. I find it fitting that my entire Now You Know album was recorded in my bedroom studio and it ended up getting used in a bedroom scene. It was the first time I’ve ever heard/seen my music set to a scene. If you missed it, this episode will also air tonight on the Soap Network. Check local listings to find out when it’s on in your area. I may even watch it again since I don’t have a DVR. Who knew I’d be watching a soap opera…
In late Sept I will be joining Storyhill for a few shows in the pacific northwest as well as doing some solo shows. I’m excited to get back to the area! More details on my tour page.
